What can I send with SeaPost?
SeaPost is designed for sending used personal belongings, which are treated as personal effects on qualifying routes. This includes clothing, shoes, books, keepsakes and excess luggage.
Food, perishable goods and certain other items cannot be sent with SeaPost. Check our guidance on prohibited goods and your route requirements before packing.

If your shipment exceeds the SeaPost limit for your route, another Seven Seas Worldwide service may be available.
Our Boxes and Bags shipping service is ideal for sending larger quantities of boxes, suitcases and personal belongings overseas.
For bigger moves, the MoveCube® provides a dedicated moving container for items such as furniture, bikes and kitchen appliances, with three sizes to choose from.

Remote customs clearance
You don’t need to be in the destination country when your shipment arrives. We help with your shipment's customs process.
Tax-free on selected routes
Qualifying SeaPost shipments to and from Australia are treated as personal effects, so no customs duties or taxes are payable under the stated SeaPost criteria. Shipments to China incur estimated customs duties and taxes of CNY70 per box.
Clear shipping costs
Your online quote provides an itemised breakdown of your shipping costs, with no destination charges added later.
Fee freeze guarantee
Your SeaPost quote is fixed for 7 days and, once you book, your shipping fee is frozen for a further 6 months.

Our Large and Standard boxes are made from chemically strengthened, double-walled cardboard to help protect your belongings in transit.
You can also use suitable boxes of your own, but avoid plastic crates, laundry bags, used food boxes and bin liners.
Any Seven Seas Worldwide boxes that remain brand-new and unused can be collected at no extra charge.
