FIATA accreditation logo

It's official — we have gained FIATA accreditation!

We're thrilled to announce that Seven Seas Worldwide is now officially FIATA-accredited. More than just a badge, this accreditation signals our commitment to global best practices in international removals and boxes and bags shipping. In this post, we explain what FIATA is, why accreditation matters, and what benefits this brings to our customers.

What is FIATA — and what does accreditation mean?

FIATA stands for the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (Fédération Internationale des Associations de Transitaires et Assimilés).

Founded in 1926, it's the largest non-governmental organisation representing freight forwarders and shipping providers worldwide. FIATA membership and accreditation indicate that a company conforms to internationally recognised industry standards, rules, and best practices.

Accreditation is granted only to operators who meet specific criteria in legal standing, professional conduct, financial stability, and adherence to FIATA's code of ethics.

More than just a badge, this accreditation signals our commitment to global best practices in international removals and boxes and bags shipping.

Why is FIATA accreditation important?

FIATA accreditation is important as it means our team will remain well-informed, up to date on regulatory changes (customs, import/export rules and compliance), and able to continue delivering a cutting-edge shipping service.

The major benefits this accreditation has for customers are:

  • Peace of mind: when you choose Seven Seas Worldwide to transport your belongings, you can trust you're choosing a company that meets global shipping standards.
  • Accountability: we adhere to transparent processes and ethical conduct guided by FIATA's principles.
  • A strong promise: this accreditation reinforces our promise to handle your most precious possessions with care, professionalism, and reliability.

We hope our new FIATA accreditation inspires even further confidence and underlines our commitment to excellence in every removal and baggage shipment we undertake.
