Student shipping to Australia

We've designed our international shipping service for students to be as easy as possible, letting you book the entire door-to-door process in just a few clicks. 

Here's how shipping student belongings works in three simple steps: 

1. Get an instant quote: enter some basic details into our free quote tool, including your name, collection and destination addresses and the items you need shipping. Then, choose suitable dates for us to deliver your empty boxes and packing supplies.

2. Securely pack your possessions: before we collect your stuff, use our shipping boxes and packing supplies to wrap your possessions securely. Cover each item in plenty of bubble wrap and use several layers for fragile things. Put heavier goods at the bottom of the box and lighter items above, away from the sides. Once full, select a collection date.

3. Fill in the documentation: finally, log into your account and complete your online documents, including an Inventory, customs forms, optional insurance forms and scans of your passport and visa. Once we collect your shipment, we'll take it to our nearest depot, ship it overseas, handle the customs process, and deliver it to your destination address.

Our trusted international shippers can transport your student belongings to Australia from Canada by sea or air. Sea shipping is our fastest option, taking around 110 days. If you need your stuff sooner, our air service takes about 21 days, but it costs a bit more. 

To avoid customs duties and Goods and Services Tax (GST) when shipping student belongings to Australia, you must complete a customs declaration form B534 and meet the following requirements: 

• You're a returning citizen or a long-stay visa holder who has lived outside Australia for more than 12 months.
• You are present in Australia or plan to return within six months of your shipment's arrival. 
• You have owned the items you're importing for a year or more, and they are not for resale, gifts, loans, disposal, or any commercial purpose.
