Mini Move: send boxes and bags across Australia with ease

Not every domestic relocation requires a large container or a full-service move. Sometimes all you need is a practical way to send a collection of personal belongings from one house to another. That’s where the Mini Move service comes in. You can transport your belongings in your own containers, but we highly recommend using our purpose-built moving boxes. Made from double-walled, chemically-hardened cardboard, each box is strong, reliable, and built to keep your goods safe during long interstate journeys across Australia. Do note that for the safety of both customers and our drivers, each box has a maximum weight limit of 30kg/66lbs, and it's your responsibility to safely pack your items before collection.

We offer two main box sizes to suit different types of belongings. The Standard box is ideal for smaller, heavier items such as books, electronics, or small kitchen appliances, while the Large box provides extra space for bulkier items like clothing, bedding, and sports equipment. Below are the dimensions for each:

• Standard box dimensions: 61 x 51 x 41cm / 24 x 20 x 16.14 inches
• Large box dimensions: 51 x 41 x 31cm / 20 x 16.14 x 12.2 inches

Alongside our Standard and Large boxes, we can also provide specialist packaging for unusually shaped items, including suitcases, bicycles and musical instruments. All you need to do is provide the exact dimensions of the item when generating your quote and wrap it for us to transport to our depot. Once it arrives, our team will place it inside a specially designed box, ready to travel alongside the rest of your moving shipment.

If you’re unsure how many boxes you’ll need, it’s always best to order a few extra. We’ll collect any unused boxes in brand-new condition free of charge, giving you peace of mind as you prepare your house move.
