Self-storage companies take liberties don't they? 'Hire this small, empty space for a ridiculous amount per month.' At Seven Seas Worldwide, we think it's time to shake up self-storage a little with a viable, more affordable and more convenient alternative for 2015.
It occurred to us last year that our international network of depots could easily be converted to storage units, and with that in mind, we decided to dip our toes into the world of self-storage. The first thing that stood out for us was the fact that no self-storage company (and we mean not a single one) offers the customer transportation.
If you have a lot of furniture and personal belongings to store away, you're going to need transportation, whether that be a people carrier, a van or possibly even a lorry. A little help wouldn't go amiss at this point right? Well you won't get that from the self-storage firms. Getting your stuff to the facility is YOUR problem by all accounts.
That's where we differ from the big names: We've come up with an off-shoot of our very popular MoveCube® and called it a StoreCube™. A StoreCube™ is a container inside a trailer that is brought to your home for loading. Once you've loaded the cube to suit your needs, we'll then take it away to our nearest branch of self-storage units. If you require your boxes to be returned just call to arrange a time and we'll return your items to your door. You'll never have to visit a self-storage facility again. And because we are an international firm, we can offer cheap storage units across the globe.
The StoreCube™ is also on hand for when you want to move abroad but need a place to store your belongings in the interim. So if you're moving from London to Sydney but you're not ready to move into your new place in Oz, Seven Seas Worldwide will put your belongings in storage until the time is right.
