So don’t start collecting up your re-used and flimsy cardboard boxes from around the house – get some super-strong ones from us!

 

We’ll deliver these free boxes to your front door at a time that suits you. We recommend that you order more than you need. After all, it’s better to have too many than not enough right? Any boxes you don’t use, we’ll just recollect when we pick up your packed boxes – providing they’ve not been used or damaged in any way.

 

2) Free packing materials delivered:

 

That’s right. If free boxes weren’t enough, we also throw in parcel tape, bubble wrap and a big marker pen to help you do a top job. These will be delivered to you at the same time as the boxes. If you order the packing materials at a later date, we will have to charge you for the delivery.

We offer one month’s free storage for all customers shipping baggage internationally with us, prior to shipping overseas. As we’ve said, we have an international network of depots which means we have firsthand knowledge and experience of the local import requirements. These requirements may include charges and we can advise you on how to minimise those costs, putting you in control of your shipment. Another reassuring detail is that our global presence means we will be the team handling your personal belongings from start to finish. Peace of mind and all that.

This is how it works: A message will be sent to you the night before by SMS messaging and/or email with the allocated timeslot (alternatively, you can call our toll free numbers). This will help you plan your day rather than sitting at home all day waiting. In areas which are not supported by our Seven Seas Worldwide fleet (i.e. where we operate via our partner network) we are unable to provide this option to you. Sorry about that.

 

6) Global delivery and collection:

 

We provide you with a web portal to view the progress of your national and international shipment. You can arrange the collection of your shipment from your original address and its delivery to your destination address through our website from wherever you happen to be travelling.

If you should use another company (Heaven forbid), beware of their ‘door-to-depot’ prices – not ‘door-to-door’. You may think you’ve paid the full charge but wait till they hit you with an extra fee for transporting your items from the depot to your door. Some of them can be sneaky like that.

We specialise exclusively in shipping unaccompanied baggage including excess baggage. When you ship with us, you can be sure your shipment will not be sharing a warehouse, container or van with other commercial shipments (i.e. with tanks, barrels of chemicals, heavy equipment, etc.). Seven Seas Worldwide never ship commercial items in any part of our network – we only deal with your sort of stuff.
